Roberto Prestigiacomo, Producing Artistic Director
Roberto Prestigiacomo is a theatre-maker whose creative work includes the development of community-based theatre through improvisation, storytelling techniques, and the creation of original performances (TransPerformance). He was artistic director for Theater With Your Coffee, and Potlatch Theater Lab. His many directing credits include Julius Caesar, King Lear, Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, The Triumph of Love, A Moon for the Misbegotten, Marisol, How I Learned to Drive, One for the Road, Fat Pig, Guys and Dolls, Back of the Throat, Dog Sees God, Forum Theater Project 2008: Facing San Antonio’s Homeless, Forum Theater Project 2009: Walls and Borders as well as original works like pastiche, Sabbia and Guernika. Roberto is a member of Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC), a produced playwright, and is a native of Rome, Italy. Roberto will be directing his own play The Reason of the Insane Ones and is a collaborator in .US. for AtticRep’s 2009-10 season.

Rick Frederick, Production Director
Rick Frederick is a company member of AtticRep where he has performed in many productions. He was seen first as Nic in One for the Road and most recently as Ross in The Goat. Rick began serving as production director for AtticRep’s Capital Fringe Festival tour of One for the Road in Washington D.C.. He has designed sound for AtticRep’s productions of Lincolnesque, True West, The Goat, Blackbird and Lydia. His scenic design’s for AtticRep include Blackbird (in collaboration with Chris Sauter) and Lydia. Rick directed Forum Theatre Project 2010: On Love and Marriage for AtticRep’s 2009-10 season.

Kyle Gillette, Dramaturg
Kyle Gillette is a director, scholar, and Assistant Professor of Drama at Trinity University, where he teaches classes in dramatic literature, theatre history, performance theory, acting, and improvisation. He has had articles published in top journals in the fields of theatre studies and performance studies. His most recent article will appear in the June 2010 issue of Performance Research. Before Trinity, he taught at Stanford University (where he also earned his PhD), the American Conservatory Theater, and a summer Shakespeare seminar held at Oxford University. For the past two summers, he has also conceived and directed the California Actors Workshop, a three-week mini-conservatory for high school students held on the campus of UC Berkeley. As a director, Kyle has staged works by Euripides, Samuel Beckett, Peter Handke, Sam Shepard, and Tom Stoppard as well as original and devised pieces. Kyle directed Allison Moore’s Slasher and is a collaborator in .US. for AtticRep’s 2009-10 season.
Rachel Joseph, Development Director/Archivist
Rachel Joseph is a performer, scholar, director, and playwright. She currently teaches writing and improvisation at Trinity University. She has performed professionally in Seattle at Intiman Theatre, Annex Theatre, and Seattle Childrens’ Theatre as well as being a founding member of the performance group Compound. She most recently appeared in Almost, Maine at the San Pedro Playhouse. Favorite roles include: Ensemble/Collaborator in The Midnight Stratum, an original work created with members of the performance group Goat Island, Julia in A Delicate Balance, Solange in The Maids, Katya in the U.S. premiere of Maria, and Kaspar in Kaspar. Her directing credits include Doctor Faustus Lights the Lights, The Successful Life of 3, and her own plays And This Before Leaving and Blurred. Rachel has a PhD in drama from Stanford University and an MFA in creative writing. Rachel performed in and co-designed the sound and video for Slasher and is a collaborator in .US. for AtticRep’s 2009-10 season.
Siggi Ragnar, Photographer
Siggi Ragnar is a native of Iceland and his work as a photographer has been influenced by the harsh conditions, beautiful landscape, and distinctive light of the Northern Atlantic. As a photographer, his mission is to capture and tell the stories of today´s world. Siggi’s involvement in other art forms in San Antonio has evolved into the role of head photography and digital art for AtticRep theater group created at Trinity University. There Siggi has taken on the difficult task of photo documenting performing art and recording all photography and photo editing for the theater. In addition to his theatrical photography, Siggi has worked as a set photographer on several local film projects. To further expand his traditional photography services, Siggi offers a very unique photography service from a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). This technology allows him to offer photography from an angle previously not possible in such environmentally friendly and cost effective way. This UAV can also carry a HD Video system to even further expand the specialty of his new innovation. Siggi has been the recipient of many national and international awards and recognitions for his photography work. Siggi lives in San Antonio with his wife and two children.

Chuck Ramirez, Graphic Designer
Chuck Ramirez is an artist and designer who lives and works in San Antonio, Texas. His large-scale photographic portraits of banal objects are humorous, yet poignant metaphors for the transient nature of consumer culture and the frailty of life. He resides in the Baja King William neighborhood with his three cats Leo, Marble Kitty, and Gray Kitty. He loves cooking and entertaining, and is often seen wandering aimlessly about the wine, meat, and cheese departments of Central Market. His motto: “When I’m empty please dispose of me properly.”
E.J. Roberts, Webmaster
E.J. Roberts received his BA in Drama and Communication from Trinity University. He has performed in AtticRep’s The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Mr. Marmalade, Lincolnesque, and was an artistic collaborator in Forum Theatre Project 2008: Facing San Antonio’s Homeless. E.J. also works at Saint Mary’s Hall in web development and theater management. He recently co-designed the sound and video for Slasher and is a collaborator in .US. for AtticRep’s 2009-10 season.
